MEET THE TEAM

Nerina trained in Liverpool, qualifying in December 1982. She spent a year working in the salaried service in London as a Dental Officer treating children, patients with special needs and mental health problems. Following this Nerina gained experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery working as a Senior House Officer in North Wales and Southampton.
Nerina has been delivering NHS and private Orthodontic care in North Baddesley since 1990 and set up Hendrickse Dental Health in 2009. She also works as a Staff Grade in Orthodontics at Southampton General Hospital. She has held this post since 1990.

Alexandra experienced first hand how Orthodontic treatments can improve life by boosting self-esteem and self-confidence. As a GDC Registered Specialist in Orthodontics, she feels blessed to be able to return the favour to her patients.

Alexandra studied dentistry at the University of Dentistry in Iasi and completed the 6-year program in 2003. She started in general practice where she gained 10 years' experience and during that time she realised her true passion is in the field of Orthodontics. Subsequently she returned and completed her Specialist in Orthodontics postgraduate qualification. ​

She is passionate about the aesthetic transformation and the happiness that Orthodontics can bring to patients, always trying to find new ways to improve the patient experience in their Orthodontic journey. She likes to keep her patients informed about their treatment and together with her attitude towards her work make her a trustworthy and approachable Orthodontist.

Angela trained as a Dental nurse in 2009 and has worked in general practices and in Oral Surgery at the local hospital before joining the team at Hendrickse Dental Health in 2017. She completed her certificate in Sedation Dental Nursing and her certificate in the Introduction to Practice Management. She is also qualified in Dental Radiography, and is due to start ILM Level 4 in Practice Management.

Jenna has worked in dentistry since 2001, and joined the team at Hendrickse in 2017. She has recently qualified with a Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy (RCS) with Leeds Dental Institute and is enjoying her new role and responsibilities with the patients.

Jenna enjoys the daily patient interaction and helping patients during their orthodontic journey. She has a wide range of additional duties which include radiography, impression taking, fluoride application and dental health education.

Charlotte qualified as a dental nurse in 2019, completing her apprenticeship through Eastleigh College. She has worked in general practice and Orthodontics before joining the team at Hendrickse Dental Health in 2019, and has commenced her training in Dental Radiography

Charlotte enjoys the patient interaction within her role at the practice, and has also taken on the additional role of taking dental impressions.

Angie qualified in 2009 and joined the Hendrickse Dental Health team in 2022. Angie is enjoying the additional duties that come with Orthodontic nursing and is currently studying for her radiography qualification. Once Angie has qualified in her Dental Radiography she plans to study for her Orthodontic nursing certificate.

Lucia joined the practice in September 2023. She has been a dental nurse working in an orthodontic practice of 16 years. She has completed her dental radiography, impression taking, and orthodontic nursing certificate. Lucia enjoys being able to talk to our patients and help put people at ease.

Steph is our Trainee Dental Nurse here at Hendrickse, she joined us in 2022. She splits her time between us and a general private practice and is enjoying learning about general and specialist dentistry.
